Velocity Truck Centres Celebrates Grand Opening of New Kelowna Dealership

Kelowna, BC — June 20, 2025 — Velocity Truck Centres (VTC) proudly marked the grand opening of its new, 40,000 sq ft state-of-the-art facility in Kelowna on Friday, June 20, from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at 6320 Lapointe Drive.

The facility was designed around the needs of today’s fleet operators, providing expanded service capacity and on-site access to leading commercial vehicle brands—including the latest trucks and trailers from Freightliner, Lode King, and more. It also debuted sustainable features such as EV charging infrastructure, Rizon EV Trucks,  and a dedicated Hydrogen/CNG service bay—one of only two of its kind in the Okanagan region.

Purpose-built with specialized ventilation, detection, and safety systems, the Hydrogen/CNG bay allows certified technicians to safely maintain and repair alternative fuel vehicles, including natural gas and hydrogen-powered trucks. As more fleets look to adopt low-emission transportation solutions, this infrastructure positions VTC Kelowna to support the evolving demands of clean energy logistics.

Guests enjoyed a complimentary BBQ lunch, took part in exclusive giveaways, and had the chance to win exciting prizes.
